VRASEL rules and safety
Read this before you play, ref, or host a match.
Quick basics
- Listen to staff at all times. They can pause or stop play for safety.
- Keep the arena clear. No bags, drinks, food, or spectators inside the marked space.
- Move with awareness. No running, diving, tackling, or intentional contact.
- Secure gear before play. Headset snug, straps on, cables clear, hair and jewelry managed.
- If you feel unwell, stop. Sit, remove the headset with help, and tell staff right away.
Eligibility
- Participants must follow the host campus or event’s eligibility rules.
- Minors play only with the permissions required by the host (school or event).
- If you have a medical condition that could be affected by VR or vigorous movement, please consult a professional and inform staff before play.
